Yet another "Too Late" thing, but at least it shows the people they had at the booth. And a bit of game info too.

RedOctane® today announced their "Guitar Hero II™" events scheduled during the 2006 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, May 10-12. The historically calm Kentia Hall will heat up as fans flock to check out the highly anticipated rock sequel Guitar Hero II (Booth #6521, Kentia Hall).

RedOctane will offer E3 Attendees the opportunity to rock out with Guitar Hero II demos then stay and enjoy live performances on the RedOctane Stage by bands featured in the original "Guitar Hero™". There will also be special guest appearances by female guitarist Judita Wignall from the band Halo Friendlies, who is the inspiration for character Judy Nails.

In-game partner and musical giant Gibson Guitar will have their official Gibson bus touring around the convention center, transporting members of the press on their groupie experience while they play Guitar Hero II.

GAMEPLAY FEATURES

Experience rock-nirvana with the new Multiplayer Co-op Mode where band mates collaborate in order to beat songs, with each guitarist playing a separate guitar track. The second player can now choose a rhythm or bass guitar part to intermingle with the lead guitar riffs, working together to produce each song and thrill the audience to rock ecstasy.

The top-secret sequel song list remains firmly in the rock domain, with more than 55 songs being featured in the next installment. Confirmed for E3 are seven playable tracks including: "Psychobilly Freakout," "Strutter," "Who Was in My Room Last Night," "You Really Got Me," "War Pigs," "YYZ" and "Arterial Black." Also confirmed are in-game appearances by returning guitar hero Judy Nails and the new Rockabilly guitarist.
