Free demo darn it! The Xbox 360 and PC demo of Just Cause from Eidos has been released. Just in at 530 megs, it isn’t that big for once.
Eidos Interactive, one of the world’s leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, confirms today that the JUST CAUSE Xbox 360 demo is live and the PC demo will go live today at 6pm GMT.
One of the largest computer games environments ever created, the JUST CAUSE demo features a bespoke island a tiny fraction of the size of the finished game to offer Xbox Live and PC gamers the chance to sample Avalanche’s next-gen, free-roaming extravaganza.
The finished game on Xbox 360 and PC will feature not only over 300 missions, the freedom to explore San Esperito to your hearts content and more vehicles than you can shake a stick at, but will also feature the grappling hook, an innovative form of transportation; simply grapple the back of any moving vehicle, car, bike, van, helicopter, boat or fighter jet and deploy your parachute to get airborne, from here you can choose to parasail, parachute down or reel in your grapple to take control of the vehicle.
The PC demo can be downloaded from one of these mirrors:

The Xbox 360 Demo is free if you have an highspeed internet connection for your Xbox 360 in the Live Marketplace.
