Get ready to spend hours downloading the Halo 3 beta due to the insane amount of gamers hammering the servers. Bungie has posted a notice that if you are trying to download the Halo 3 beta via Crackdown there is currently a problem and Bungie is working on it.

With any luck this will be a short delay. People enetering the Beta through other methods – Friends and Family, Rule of Three and so on, are unaffected.
