UPDATED LIST May 7th, a whole bunch of companies appeared on the list that weren’t there a day ago, but alas Activision is really not going to be there.

D3Publisher has confirmed to Gametactics that they WILL be attending E3 2008 in addition the E3 Summit website was updated with some new companies today.

The ESA has launched the official website for the upcoming E3 Media and Business Summit 2008 attendees; on the site is the schedule of when the show floor at the Los Angeles Convention center will be open and an early list of companies that have signed up so far.

Tuesday, July 15, 2008: 9:00AM – 6:00PM
Wednesday, July 16, 2008: 9:00AM – 6:00PM
Thursday, July 17, 2008: 9:00AM – 4:00PM

E3 2008 will be more or less in the same format as E3 2007, except no more shuttling around from hotel to hotel. E3 2008 will occupy:

LACC 500 Meeting Rooms
Showcase Pavilion in West Hall A
