This edition features all the modes you’ve become accustomed to from any given Singstar you have on the PS2. Modes like Sing Mode for standard singing, Party Mode to battle with other people across songs. If you feel inclined, like every other SIngstar game you can plug in the EyeToy camera for it to take video footage of you while singing. This late in the PS2’s cycle there been no effort to improve upon the formula, instead its just 30 more songs to sing to in you’ve grown bored of the other dozen plus editions of Singstar avalable today.
A tracklist on a DVD feels outdated when you think about current generation consoles with Downloadable Content at your disposal where you can pick and choose what songs you wantt from a variety instead of these generic packs. The market for a Country song list is limited to a particular market and will probably be the definite package for gamers who enjoy singing kareoke of Country classics.
There isn’t necessarily anything wrong with SingStar if you’ve enjoyed past games but nothing has changed, buy this if you still haven’t picked up a Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 and you enjoy Country music, otherwise this game probably isn’t for you
