This game is more focused on being a crowd pleaser will probably a little something for everyone, with songs from different eras. However the track list ultimately comes down to individual song taste whever you’ll enjoy it or not. The game includes all the modes you’re used to from previous SingStar games ushc as Sing Mode, Party Mode and Star Maker Mode. Suffice to say if you’ve ever played a Singstar game before you’ll know what to expect since nothing as really changed.
The offering on the PlayStation 2 pales in comparison what you’ll get in a Rock Band, Lips or Singstar on the PlayStation where you have a selection of songs found on the disc along wiht a large assortment of songs available for download. However on the PlayStation 2 you’re stuck with the songs you bought in each particular pack at the steep price of $30 a bundle with no options to download more
However with that said if you enjoy most of the songs on the tracklist and you need another Singstar fix on your PlayStation you won’t go wrong with this offering however if you want something different like you’d find on a current generation console with its many offerings for Karaoke gamers then you’d probably be better served buying one of those.
