DECA SPORTS 2, the sequel to the original sports compilation title which shipped two million units worldwide, is nearing the bullseye as the upcoming videogame has gone gold.  Published by Hudson Entertainment, the North and South American publishing arm for HUDSON SOFT, DECA SPORTS 2 will be available exclusively for Wii September 29th for $29.99.

“DECA SPORTS 2 offers a unique mix of classic sports and more unconventional and particularly fun choices,” said Mike Pepe, Director of Marketing at Hudson Entertainment.  “Sports like petanque and kendo are refreshing complements to tried-and-true games such as tennis and ice hockey, while the online multiplayer makes this sequel all the more exciting for sports fans of all ages.”

As a Wii sports compilation game with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection online multiplayer, DECA SPORTS 2 allows players to compete against other ‘DECAthletes’ from around the country in dodge ball, ice hockey, and tennis.  Featuring other diverse sports such as synchronized swimming, motorcycle road racing, speed skating, mogul skiing, and darts, as well as lesser known international sports such as petanque and kendo, DECA SPORTS 2 will continue the original game’s credo of “the Everybody Sports Game.”  In addition to the new sports, gamers will also be able to design their own teams, customizing uniforms, athlete skill sets and even the looks of the athletes themselves.
