Total War: SHOGUN 2’s new multiplayer features revolutionise the Total War series, and this video highlights the engaging, dramatic and wholly-immersive experience Creative Assembly has crafted. Hosted by Creative Assembly’s own Kieran Bridgen, the video focuses on the new avatar system, one that grants players the opportunity to progress a character of their design, upgrading and customizing their generals as well as all of the units in his army. Multiplayer campaigns have also returned and multiplayer battles have had an overhaul, too. Battlefields now feature key buildings; when these buildings are captured, players gain bonuses to their units. This thrilling new dynamic brings a new energy to Total War multiplayer battles.
