Assassins Creed Revelations ScreenshotToday Ubisoft announced that the highly anticipated Assassin’s Creed Revelations is now available at retailers worldwide for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. The PC version of Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be released on November 29, 2011.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations marks the peak of the epic journey of master assassin Ezio Auditore in the age-old war between Assassins and Templars. Assassin’s Creed Revelations is an action-adventure game that blends thrilling combat, stunning hyper-realistic graphics and a gripping tale of intrigue and self-discovery.

Developed and led by Ubisoft Montreal with the support and expertise of Ubisoft studios Annecy, Massive Entertainment, Quebec, Singapore and Bucharest, Assassin’s Creed Revelations presents the most immersive experience available in the series to date and the culmination of Ezio’s adventure.

In Assassin’s Creed Revelations, master assassin Ezio Auditore walks in the footsteps of the legendary assassin Altaïr on a journey of revelation. It is a perilous path – one that will take Ezio to Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire, where a growing army of Templars threatens to destabilize the region. In addition to Ezio’s award-winning story, the acclaimed online multiplayer experience returns, refined and expanded, with more modes, more maps and more characters that allow players to test their assassin skills against others from around the world.

Also releasing today, Assassin’s Creed Embers, a new computer generated animated short movie, will expand on the final chapter of the life of master assassin Ezio Auditore and a journey that has spanned more than four decades. The animated short, developed by UbiWorkshop, will be available with the Assassin’s Creed Revelations Animus Edition, with the Collector Edition, for digital download on Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation Network.

Finally, Assassin’s Creed Revelations will feature downloadable content following the game release, starting with The Ancestors Character Pack on December 13. The first new downloadable content features four new multiplayer characters: the swashbuckling Privateer, the devious siren Corsair, the battle-tested Brigand and the bloodthirsty Gladiator. Each character is personalized with unique taunts, weapons and stylized assassination moves.

The Ancestors Character Pack will be available for download December 13 for $3.99 on the PlayStation®Network and 320 Microsoft Points on XBOX LIVE®. The first two downloadable content packs are available for pre-order today.
