On Monday, December 12, Sony Computer Entertainment Canada Inc. (PlayStation Canada) launched the “UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception Treasure Hunt” contest offering a grand prize of $10,000 and exclusive instant win prizes at EB Games.
The UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception Treasure Hunt challenges entrants to collect a series of virtual treasures by scanning Quick Response (QR) codes or visiting unique URLs. These codes and URLs can be found in various real-world urban centers, EB Game stores across Canada as well as online. The more virtual treasures collected increases an entrant’s chance to win the $10,000 grand prize.
There are also over one thousand instant win prizes available to be won including copies of UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception and discounts on PlayStation products. See list of instant win prizes below.

Entrants are encouraged to visit the PlayStation Canada Facebook page which will provide clues to various real-world and online locations containing QR codes and unique URLs. Scanning these codes or visiting the URLs will add virtual treasure items to an online contest inventory. Each virtual treasure item collected will also give the entrant one entry into the grand prize.
This unique contest will run for five weeks from December 11 to January 14 and is open to Canadian residents ages 13 and up (excluding Quebec). No purchase is necessary to enter or win a prize in this contest. Full contest rules are available at playstation.ca or facebook.com/PlayStationCanada.
