A new world of racing has launched as GRID 2 from Codemasters races into retail across North America this week.

To accompany the game’s long-awaited release for the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC, Codemasters has released a stunning new gameplay trailer showing how GRID 2 brings the best cars, events, locations and drivers together in a new globe-trotting competition, World Series Racing.

In the launch video, supercars including the McLaren F1 GT and Pagani Huayra roar through the streets of Paris, Touring Car pedigree is represented as examples of the Volvo S60 BTCS, Gomez Competition GC 10.1 and BMW 320 trade paint around Austria’s Red Bull Ring and Dodge Chargers and Ford Mustang Mach 1 Twister Specials blast along the California Coast.
