Harmonix is pleased to announce that it’ll give fans headed to PAX East on March 6-8 hands-on with multiplayer for its upcoming rhythm-action music game, Amplitude.
Fans can head over to the Harmonix Booth located at #4224, where they’ll be able to play an early PlayStation 4 version of the re-imagined Amplitude. Built exclusively with PAX East in mind, this updated demo will feature all-new content, including a new song “ICU,” and an all-new track titled “Phantoms” by Amplitude fan-favorite, Freezepop.
Additionally, PAX East goers will be the first folks anywhere in the world to test out the newly-announced team gameplay. This new multiplayer mode allows players to team up, either two-versus-two or three-versus-one, in an intense competition for musical control.
Harmonix is also excited to share that Amplitude will be a featured game in the popular Penny Arcade Tournament, the Omegathon. On Saturday, March 7, eight remaining teams will battle it out to see who moves on to the final round. More details can be found at http://east.paxsite.com/schedule/panel/omegathon-round-2-amplitude.
