NHL pro player Max Talbot visited the Ubisoft Montreal studio and got some hands-on time with Assassin’s Creed III.

Set against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, Assassin’s Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratohnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage. Adopting the name Connor, he becomes the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars. Players become an Assassin in the war for liberty against ruthless tyranny in the most stylized and fluid combat experiences in the franchise to date. Assassin’s Creed III spans the Revolutionary War, taking gamers from the vibrant, untamed frontier to bustling colonial towns and the intense, chaotic battlefields where George Washington’s Continental Army clashed with the imposing British Army.

Today, Ubisoft announced Just Dance 4, the fourth game in the multi-million selling Just Dance franchise, is now available in North America on the Wii system from Nintendo, Microsoft Kinect for Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation® Move for PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. Just Dance 4 is rated “E-10+” by the ESRB and will be available at both retail locations and online at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $39.99. The game will also be released on the Wii U system from Nintendo during launch window at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $49.99.

Bethesda Softworks, a ZeniMax Media company, today announced that Arkane Studios’ first-person action game, Dishonored, is now available in retail stores across North America. Developed under co-creative directors, Raphael Colantonio, lead designer on Arx Fatalis, and Harvey Smith, lead
designer on Deus Ex, Dishonored is available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, and PC. Dishonored has already garnered critical acclaim, winning over 50 awards at the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) as well GamesCom’s “Game of the Show.”

The first tag team match occurred in 1901. It was done to improve the entertainment value of professional wrestling at the turn of the century. In 1950 tag team wrestling became popular enough to have a World Tag Team Championship. Through time, the term “tag team” became part of our culture, and became a slang term used for any team of 2 or more people who engaged in activities where they had to use cooperation or alternate between each other. This also includes video games, where you can have teams of 2 or 3 characters like in Marvel vs Capcom, and Street Fighter X Tekken. But none may be as good at the tag team dynamic than Tekken Tag Tournament. Now, Namco has released the 2nd installment of the Tekken Tag Tournament franchise. How does it measure up?
