Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced that the action adventure title Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate will be available in early 2013 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS system.

“It’s been two years since the enormous success of Castlevania Lords of Shadow, and with this next installment, we want to take the necessary time needed to give fans a handheld title unlike any other,” said Dave Cox, Producer of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 and Head of Product Planning and Development for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate will bridge the storyline to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, also planned to release in 2013. Both titles will reveal the shocking fate of the Belmont Clan in a dramatic culmination of the Lords of Shadow saga.”

Today Ubisoft announced that The Expendables 2 Videogame is now available for Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system for 1200 Microsoft Points and PC for $14.99. The Expendables 2 Videogame unites four of the world’s most legendary mercenaries – Barney Ross, Gunner Jensen, Hale Caesar and Yin Yang – in a feast of explosive over-the-top action, authentic to the Expendables franchise.

Building on the universe created in the high-octane, star-studded movies, The Expendables 2 Videogame invites gamers on an adventure to rescue an extremely valuable, kidnapped billionaire. It’s all business, until all hell breaks loose and the explosive mix of testosterone and kerosene detonates in a massive fireball that never lets up. Once again, players will reprise the role of ‘The Agent’ to take down a global terrorist organization set on world domination. The Interceptor is ready for even the most difficult missions as it is able to seamlessly transform from supercar to off-road assault vehicle to speed boat and equipped with new tech gadgets and advanced weaponry.

This video showcases just a few of the ways that you can eliminate your enemies using the flexible combat system. Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD ScreenshotExtreme sports is something I’ve casually followed since the first X-Games in 1995. While these extreme sports were exciting and new to me it wasn’t until 1999 with the release of the first Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater that I got a good taste of what skateboarding had to offer. While that game was good, it’s sequel, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, was just a little bit better. Plus, the inclusion of Spider-Man didn’t hurt any (Spider-Man is an amazing skateboarder). I kept up fairly well with the Tony Hawk games up to Underground, and kept tabs on following games, though I didn’t really play any of them. So when it was announced that there would be an HD remix of the old Pro Skater series, I was intrigued. Would it live up to my memories of playing the originals, or would it be a cheap knockoff made to cash in on a retired skater’s name?
