Today, Ubisoft released a new trailer detailing the connections between the short film, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Alpha, and the upcoming video game, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Alpha is the 25-minute prequel film to the video game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier and follows the Ghosts as they are dropped deep behind enemy lines in order to eliminate one of the world’s most sought-after war criminals.

Ghost Recon Alpha will premiere in the US on G4 Televison on Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30 PM.

The latter half of the epic Dungeon Defenders DLC pack, the Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards, is upon us with Part III: Aquanos. Available now on PC and coming soon to consoles, Part III takes place in the underwater ruins of Aquanos, a fallen metropolis deep in the ocean. Do your part to help the young defenders recover the yellow Eternia Shard in hopes of saving Eternia’s heroes! Also, Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards Part II: Moraggo is Available Now on Console!

A mysterious blue bubble surrounds the city of Aquanos to give the warriors air to breathe, but in the Riddle of the Deep challenge mission, water starts to flood the protective casing, and our heroes must solve an aquamarine puzzle to keep from drowning. With these two new missions comes a haunting new PvP battleground, Shipwreck Graveyard, as well as a slew of new water-themed weapons, the Kraken boss, and a new pet.

Valve, creators of best-selling game franchises (such as Half-Life and Counter-Strike) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced the free Portal 2 DLC titled “Perpetual Testing Initiative” will be available for the PC and Mac on May 8th.

The “Perpetual Testing Initiative” allows players to easily create, share, and play Portal 2 puzzles. The Initiative comes with a simplified puzzle maker that allows that creation of mind-bending puzzles without ever leaving the game.

The puzzle maker can directly publish maps to the Steam Workshop where users can browse, vote on, and select to play them. Selected puzzles will automatically be downloaded and installed inside Portal 2.

Portal 2 holds a Metacritic score of 95% and has been awarded numerous Game of Year awards. It features expansive single and cooperative multiplayer game modes.

Today, Capcom released the MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2 App on the App Store for iPhone and iPod touch. Introducing a brand new control style using the innovative “Flick Button”, the MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2 App allows players to play this classic fighting game on the go. The “Flick Button” mechanic introduces an easy way for players to access the more advanced attacks in MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2 with a fast swipe.

Meanwhile 3rd person cover shooters like Gears of War have also become all the rage. So why not combine the trends, and even tackle the story from another angle to boot?
