Ubisoft has released the first gameplay trailer from Far Cry 3. Check out the action-packed shooter gameplay and immersive world of Far Cry 3 through the troubled eyes of Dr. Earnhardt, the island’s resident “pharmacist.” Use an arsenal of weapons, explosives and vehicles to fight against the island’s ruthless and deranged inhabitants. The Wii is well within its twilight years of a consoles lifespan, where even the top tier publishers (In the Wii’s case, Nintendo and… well… Nintendo) are regulated to releasing mediocre games whom primarily attract a dying consoles last remaining fan base: Young children. That pretty much sums up PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond in a nutshell: While there isn’t anything technically horrible about the game, virtually every aspect about the game seemed to have been designed for small children. Now that in of itself isn’t a bad thing, as many games made primarily for children turn out to be good — the Lego games comes to mind, The problem with PokePark 2 is that it takes it to another level, to the point where not even the parents of the children this game was intended for will want to spend more than a few minutes playing this game with their kids.

SEGA just released a video interview for Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, this time not from the devs but from VF championship player Chibita, who has won numerous VF tournaments both in Japan and stateside. The video shows some new footage for the upcoming console version of VF5:FS for XBLA/PSN and features Chibita explaining his play style and previous tournament experience.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and CD Projekt RED just released the impressive “New Elements” trailer for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition, showcasing the refined controls, characters, locations, cinematography and new content for the console debut of the acclaimed series. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition launches April 17 in North America for the Xbox 360 and PC.
