Posted By Malcolm Owen On June 7, 2011 at 2:48 pm Comments Off on E3 2011 – Xbox Kinect Does Live TV And Voice Search

Ever felt too tired to pick up the remote control in order to watch TV? The Kinect will have the ability to replace the zapper later this year with voice controlled search powered by Bing, including shows on Hulu Plus, ESPN, Netflix and other media types.

Thanks to a deal with Sky TV in the UK and other operators elsewhere in the world, you will also be able to get live TV, presumably with various PVR features.

BT customers can look towards possible bundles with their broadband.

10-135-54-27-image13The Lego series of games have been going on for for the past few years now. Starting with the original Lego Star Wars and continuing on with Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, one constant trend to these games is just how consistent they have been in terms of quality: None of the games in this series are what I would consider AAA quality; at the same time none of the games really manage to fall in to the mediocre category as well. You have to hand it to Travelers Tales for being consistent over the years when it comes to the quality of this franchise.
