Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are giving players a look at F.E.A.R. 3 ’s “Soul King” multiplayer mode. In this cutthroat mode, players are thrust into the most competitive multiplayer experience in the game, with the goal of harvesting the most number of souls before time runs out. Players will start out as a spectre, capable of possessing enemies to gain the skills and weapons of the body they inhabit. While possessing a body, players will be able to collect souls through killing enemies, however, will need to constantly battle other AI enemies and the three other players eager to take them down and steal their harvested souls.

Prejudice puts players into the role of Captain Alex Corde, a rookie in the first game but now a veteran, part of the 8th Armored Infantry. Corde and the 8th Armored Infantry must track down a rogue military unit, The Arm of Orion and figure out what their true motives are. Dragon Age was Bioware’s spiritual successor to their Baldur’s Gate series from the over a decade ago. Baldur’s Gate was the first breakthrough hit for Bioware and holds a special place in a lot of gamer’s hearts. It did the tactical RPG genre right. It was a daunting task to match the expectations that gamers had for Dragon Age but Bioware succeeded easily. Now less than two years down after Dragon Age: Origin’s release, a full-blown sequel has come. And during that time, Bioware put out downloadable content and a meaty expansion. Clearly Bioware have been very busy bumblebees but can they keep their quality consistent at this pace?

Sony Corporation and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) announced that Sony Network Entertainment International (SNEI, the company) will today begin a phased restoration by region of PlayStation Network and Qriocity Services. The phased restoration will be on a country by country basis beginning in the Americas, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Middle East.

The first phase of restored services for these countries and regions will include:
• Sign-in for PlayStation Network and Qriocity services, including the resetting of passwords
• Restoration of online game-play across PS3 and PSP
• Playback rental video content, if within rental period, of PlayStation Network Video Delivery Service on PS3, PSP and MediaGo
• Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity, for current subscribers, on PS3 and PC
• Access to 3rd party services such as Netflix, Hulu, Vudu and MLB.tv
