Warner Bros has released a new Raiden, the God of Thunder video for you to check out. See how he became Shao Kahn’s deadly rival and instigated the infamous Mortal Kombat tournament.

Mortal Kombat is the most brutal installment of the landmark fighting game to date for release on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2011. The game is being developed by NetherRealm Studios, led by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon.

Atari has released the final developer diary for the upcoming Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime. The game is slated for a release on digital download on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on March 23rd.

Hard Corps: Uprising might sound like a fresh new franchise, but in reality it’s just the newest take on an over 20 year old series. If you’re an old school gamer, you might remember a Genesis game that goes by the name of Contra: Hard Corps. Now if you’ve followed me so far then it’d be no surprise when I say it was a really hard game, especially the North American edition. Konami or should I say Arc System Works the people behind this prequel to the old Genesis classic have brought the back series to life. Does Contra deserve one more shot at life or is it best left in the past.

KONAMI today revealed the content of its latest free DLC pack for Pro Evolution Soccer 2011. The update will be available to PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and PC-DVD on March 15th, and updates a number of elements to the full game. Winter transfers and movements up to the end of the January transfer window have been updated for 135 Club teams, while Spain’s new kit, and the Swedish national team’s away kit, have been added. Additionally, 10 new boot styles from Adidas, NIKE, PUMA and Umbro have also been added.

Capcom has released two new videos featuring Jill Valentine from Capcom’s Resident Evil and Shuma-Gorath from Marvel’s Doctor Strange, the latest additions to the playable roster in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.

Each of these characters will be available as individual downloads on March 15 for 400 Microsoft Points or $4.99 on the PSN.

KONAMI today announced the PlayStation Network release date and price for Hard Corps: Uprising. Hard Corps: Uprising will be available on March 15th on the PlayStation Network for $9.99 $14.99 (Correction from Konami, price is $14.99). Along with the release date a few screens have also been released.
