In a Quarterly and Calendar Year 2010 Financial Results release yesterday, Activision Blizzard has announced that it will no longer continue development of Guitar Hero and the True Crime series.

At the same time, due to continued declines in the music genre, the company will disband Activision Publishing’s Guitar Hero business unit and discontinue development on its Guitar Hero game for 2011. The company also will stop development on True Crime: Hong Kong. These decisions are based on the desire to focus on the greatest opportunities that the company currently has to create the world’s best interactive entertainment experiences.

Capcom has revealed the final boss character for Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. In this video, Captain America takes on Galactus, the game is slated for release on February 15, 2011 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Sega has sent over an “interesting” video from the upcoming Yakuza 4 game, slated for a March 15th 2011 release on the PlayStation 3. This video shows off a previously unavailable mini game, titled “Hostess” where you try to get a woman, think of it as a sexy dating sim.
