Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is an action adventure platformer based on the ancient Chinese novel Journey to the West and was developed by Ninja Theory, who also did Heavenly Sword. The story follows a loner named Monkey who is enslaved by a young woman named Trip. Trip is very tech-savvy so she reprograms a slave headband to enslave Monkey so he can escort her home and protect her from Mechs and slavers. Monkey, true to his name, is very athletic and agile so he can climb and jump to places most people can’t and he uses a staff that changes size on command to fight.

This platformer hasn’t had much coverage, but it is a quite a surprise from Namco Bandai Games.

Harmonix, MTV Games and EA has released a batch of new screenshots for next weeks launch of Rock Band 3. The game is slated to rock into store shelves in North America on October 26th! For now, check out all these cool screenshots.

Nintendo has sent word that this holiday season will be red red red! There is a new Mario red coloured Limited Edition Wii and Nintendo DSi XL bundle. Nintendo has also announced that the new Wii Remote Plus will be out as well, which combines the Wii Motion Plus into one slick Wii Mote. There is also a FlingSmash bundle that includes one Wii Motion Plus controller with the game.

KONAMI today released new screenshots for Rush’N Attack: Ex-Patriot, which is set to release this winter for Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network. The new screens for Rush’N Attack: Ex-Patriot show the game’s main character Sid Morrow engaging in close combat with prison guards, getting caught in a classic Rush’N Attack “Rush”, and taking on a boss infused with weaponized Ulyssium in a tank. Fans of KONAMI’s classic run-and-gun genre games may also notice some nods to the past.

Rush’N Attack: Ex-Patriot will be available this winter on Xbox LIVE Arcade and on the PlayStation Network.

Go inside Super Scribblenauts with creative director Jeremiah Slaczka as he teams up with Maxwell to demonstrate the game’s improved controls. Watch Maxwell as he navigates around one of 120 brand new levels using the DS stylus or the directional pad in the game.
