• NHL 17 Review - Xbox One (Also on PlayStation 4)

Two major retailers have dropped their MSRP of the Wii Sports Resort Bundle to an incredible $179.99 (Down from the regular $209.99 CAD). This makes the Nintendo Wii with Wii Motion Plus, Wii Sports Resort and Wii Sports. The MSRP in the United States is $199.99, for once people might be flocking to Canada to buy cheaper videogames.

With the holidays coming soon, this is a great deal for an early Christmas present. The official MSRP for the Nintendo has not dropped, but with Costco Wholesale and Walmart Canada dropping it to $179.99 other retailers may have no choice but to slash their prices to keep up with the competition.

Fallout: New Vegas – Review (Xbox 360)

Posted By Jeff Markiewicz On October 19, 2010 at 2:55 pm Comments Off on Fallout: New Vegas – Review (Xbox 360)

Fallout was started out at Black Isle studios in 1997 and was a huge hit. It was a turn-based isometric role-playing game back then and had quite the following. Fallout 2 hit a year later in 1998 and was even better. It then sort of got tossed around developers for a while making decent titles until the property landed in the hands of Bethesda and they released Fallout 3 in 2008. The game made the switch from isometric turn-based RPG to first-person RPG successfully. It was a critical and commercial success. Now two years later in the hands of Obsidian, a developer that harbors some of the developers that worked on the series originally at Black Isle now have a chance to get their hands on the property again. Will this reunion be a success or be a mere expansion pack?

“He’s on fire!” You couldn’t walk into any arcade, pool hall or even bowling alley about 15 years ago without hearing that catch phrase from the NBA Jam arcade machine. I myself plunked down at least $100 playing all the different series of the game in the arcade. When EA announced that it was bringing it to the Nintendo Wii, I was extremely excited and scared at the same time with this remake of the arcade classic. Will it be true to the arcade version or get rejected?
