Editors Note: This is a Alpha Build and this article is definitely not an accurate indication of how the final product will be.
I’ve had some time with Skara: The Blade Remains, And I must say, what I sampled is a poor example of what the team is trying to accomplish. The game is a multi-player focused PVP melee action game. In the alpha build, I could play either Free-for-All or Team Deathmatch modes. Since I had trouble joining a game, I was left with the option of hosting my own game, and had to make use of bots. The number of bots could be set up to three. The game is split in-between two factions. The Kharn, and the Durno. The Kharn seem to be tribal people, while the Durno look like your typical medieval looking people, replete with armor. The Kharn also use crude but brutal weapons. There are other factions that the full game will have, but these were the only two available. Read More

In Scooby Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe: Adventure, kids solve puzzles and fight enemies in these two beloved cartoon worlds come to life. 2K and Gearbox Software – the creators of the award-winning and best-selling Borderlands franchise – today announced Battleborn, an all-new full-featured triple-A hero-shooter experience for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC is in development. The first details and full reveal of Battleborn can be read now exclusively in Game Informer magazine’s August issue cover story.
Battleborn is developed by the teams behind the critically acclaimed hybrid role-playing-shooter Borderlands 2, and is an ambitious Firfusion of genres. “Project Spark Starter Pack,” the Xbox One retail version of the game that has put the powers of creation and play in the hands of gamers, will arrive in stores on October 7 in the Americas, October 9 in Asia-Pacific countries and October 10 in Europe.

For the last several years, Kemco has released JRPG title after title, with only recently a lot of them making it to Android and IOS devices in the West. Although, the in game translations done leave a lot to be desired. That’s where companies like Natsume come in. They take on the taxing job of not only localizing the various ports of some of these games, but they translate them in such a way that one wonders why they haven’t been hired to localize all the other smartphone games. Still, Natsume tackling the PSP port of End of Aspirations and rechristening it End of Serenity is interesting. Apparently PSP While the game is serviceable. The renamed title doesn’t provide much context within the game. Read More

DestinyActivision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc., and Bungie today confirmed the calendar for the highly anticipated Destiny Beta, which will include a diverse sampling of major activities featured in the full game. Fans who pre-order Destiny at a participating retailer are guaranteed access into the Beta, which will commence as follows:
The Beta begins first for PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system (PlayStation Plus required for some features) and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system at 10:00am PDT on July 17
The Beta begins for Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system and Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft (Xbox Live Gold required, subject to change) at 10:00am PDT on July 23
The Beta will be offline for scheduled maintenance on July 21 – July 22 and open back up to pre-order participants across all platforms until 11:59pm PDT on July 27

In preparation for its upcoming Early Access launch, the H1Z1 team has released a new demo video showing off some of the latest features added to the game. In the video, Senior Designer Jimmy Whisenhunt demonstrates his survival skills and explains some of the features shown during E3, general survival tactics and new features, including crafting, the new bow weapon and dynamic weather.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, H1Z1 is a zombie survival MMO coming to the PC through Steam Early Access. Players must strategize in order to survive a worldwide infection, choosing to either band together or fight against one another in PvP combat.
