Disney Magical World when it was first announced sounded like a nice Disney take on the Animal Crossing formula. Sadly the reality is harsher than the imagination can brew up, as this game is a bit disappointing in the fun department, even from the perspective of “kid’s game”. The game is set up in a simulation type setting much like Animal Crossing. You are a person who has arrived at a fictional Disney World, with all your Disney cartoon friends like Mickey, and even some film characters like Aladdin. You can make use of your Mii if you wish, or make a new one. You can collect resources to make new clothes or furniture to use in your cafe, which you can sell dishes to make money. The money of course is then used to buy even more stuff. You can also go to the various worlds from several properties like Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland. These places have you doing quests that have you play various mini-games, but primarily you will be playing a simple action game where you use a magic wand to fight ghosts and hunt for treasure. Some of the worlds also have fishing holes, and the Winnie the Pooh world can let you try your hand at gardening.

LEGO The Hobbit Video Game Now Available / Launch Trailer Released
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group today announced the launch of LEGO The Hobbit, available now in all major retail stores across North America for the Xbox One all-in-one games and entertainment system and Xbox 360 games and entertainment systems from Microsoft, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems and PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system, and the Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system, as well as Windows PC. The game will also be available for Nintendo’s Wii U system on April 22.

Ubisoft Announces The Crew to Launch in Fall 2014, Releases Premiere Gameplay Trailer
Today, Ubisoft announced that The Crew will be available this fall for Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and PC.
The Crew is a revolutionary action-driving game that takes gamers on a reckless ride throughout a massive, open-world recreation of the United States brimming with exciting challenges and populated by other real players.

NASCAR is a popular sport throughout the United States, followed by millions. It’s only natural that videogames based upon it have cropped up since the inception of gaming. The first NASCAR game was released in 1994 from the Papyrus Design Group. They had a good decade, so much so that drivers even practiced using their games, until Electronic Arts took hold of the license. When their license lapsed, it was free reign on NASCAR games with different games incorporating the sports. In 2010, Eutechnyx stepped into the foray and released several NASCAR-themed titles. Despite a pedigree in driving games, going all the way back to 1988 with Speed Ace on Atari, most of their work recently has been met with middling reviews. Now Eutechnyx brings us NASCAR ’14, published by Deep Silver. The odds seem stacked against this racer finishing at the front of the pack but you never know what will happen, especially in NASCAR.

The Dynasty Warrior series has been around for a long time, and it didn’t take long for the main series took the street fighter route, with it’s Xtreme Legends expansions. This version of the game carries on that tradition, but this time as a full release, not requiring the vanilla version of the eighth installment. This also marks the first mainline entry for the Vita as well. But this game also proves that even after eight installments and many spinoffs that sometimes all a gamer needs is a little more of the same to satisfy that simple desire to have fun.

Rare has been hard at work with Kinect Sports Rivals, the first game to take advantage of the new super sensitive Kinect 2 sensor for the Xbox One. The game has some classic games from the first Kinect Sports: Bowling, Soccer and Tennis but adds new sports such as Climbing, Target Shooting and Wake Racing. Kinect Sports Rivals is different from the original Kinect Sports, you are on an island and competing in various events to gain fans, fame and fortune. Think of it as an Olympics of sorts with rival teams that you must beat. You can eventually join one of the teams and lead your team victory!
5-year-old Ocean Beach Boy Exposes Microsoft Xbox One Login Vulnerability
A young Ocean Beach boy discovered a back door into his dad’s Xbox One by simply typing spaces into the password box and hitting the enter on the on screen keyboard. Since then, Microsoft has patched the issue and gave him a few games and a year’s subscription to Xbox Live.
Just after Christmas, Kristoffer’s parents noticed he was logging into his father’s Xbox Live account and playing games he wasn’t supposed to be.
“I got nervous. I thought he was going to find out,” said Kristoffer.
In video shot soon after, his father, Robert Davies, is heard asking Kristoffer how he was doing it.
A suddenly excited Kristoffer showed Dad that when he typed in a wrong password for his father’s account, it clicked to a password verification screen. By typing in space keys, then hitting enter, Kristoffer was able to get in through a back door.

Escape Goat 2 Review – Windows PC (Steam)
Magical Time Bean is a small indie developer who started out on XNA, with his First game as Soul Caster, a puzzle game. After a sequel to that title they went on to make Escape Goat. This time it was still a puzzler, but also a platformer. After releasing Soul Caster 2, Escape Goat got a PC port. In between then and today, they went hard at work on a sequel to Escape Goat 2. And true to their name, Escape Goat 2 is a magical time. Just be prepared to die as often as a fallen hacky-sack.
