Posted By Michael Leparc On August 26, 2013 at 3:26 pm Comments Off on Pikmin 3 Review – Wii U

New Super Luigi U - Box Art SmallThe Year of Luigi is going strong. So far, Luigi has explored multiple haunted mansions in Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon for Nintendo 3DS, partnered up with his brother in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, also for Nintendo 3DS, and taken the Wii U downloadable content world by storm in New Super Luigi U. On Aug. 25, New Super Luigi U will be available as a packaged-disc version for Wii U that will be sold in retail stores. The game joins the downloadable version available in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U.

The retail version of New Super Luigi U comes in a unique green case that will look excellent on any game shelf. Fans that purchase the retail version of New Super Luigi U for a suggested retail price of $29.99 do not need to own a copy of New Super Mario Bros. U to play. For Wii U users who already own a copy of New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U is still available as a download in the Nintendo eShop for $19.99.

New Super Luigi U is the first platforming adventure starring Luigi as the main playable character. With more than 80 revamped stages, Luigi’s trademark high jump and the addition of playable character Nabbit, New Super Luigi U takes the Year of Luigi to a whole new level – 82 of them, in fact.

But don’t take our word for it as Luigi has made a recording about it:
