Splinter-Cell-Blacklist-LogoUbisoft was kind enough to invite GameTactics to their Montreal studios yesterday to check out the multiplayer mode of their upcoming AAA title Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Anyone who’s played just about any Splinter Cell besides Conviction will instantly recognize the Spies vs Mercs mode and in fact the disappointment by Splinter Cell fans by it’s exclusion from Conviction was one the driving factors to bring it to Blacklist. There are three separate variations of the same basic concept, but suggesting they are at all the same would be far over simplifying things. It’s three different modes are Blacklist Spies vs Mercs, Spies vs Mercs Classic and the newly announced mode Extraction which Gametactics is one of the first to take a look.

FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Audio Drama Preview and Screenshots

SQUARE ENIX today released the FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster 30 minute audio drama preview, written by the Scenario Writer, Kazushige Nojima. The episode will be included as part of the credits on FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster.

Also released are new screenshots that feature the different environments within the game, including Besaid Island, Luca, Mi’ihen Highroad, Moonflow and Zanarkand.

SQUARE ENIX also confirmed that over 60 tracks from the original FINAL FANTASY X soundtrack will be rearranged and/or remastered in high-definition audio. Additionally, PlayStation 3 system and PlayStation Vita trophies will be supported.

SQUARE ENIX today released the “All About KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX” trailer. The trailer showcases the variety of Disney worlds in the game, including Atlantica (The Little Mermaid), Monstro (Pinocchio), and Neverland (Peter Pan). The trailer also includes epic battles in the Olympus Coliseum in which players can battle against the legendary Cloud Strife from FINAL FANTASY VII. KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX will include new abilities, enemies and commands for North American players.
