Posted By Justin Lee On April 30, 2013 at 11:54 am Comments Off on New Screenshots for Daedalic’s Memoria

Daedalic Entertainment has released three new screenshots for the upcoming adventure title Memoria, showing more of the game and its world. If you’re a fan of the setting, feel free to guess the locations that the screenshots show, but you can simply enjoy the beauty of these hand-drawn backdrops. Memoria will be available in Q3/2013 featuring full English localization.

Memoria tells the tale of the warrior princess Sadja of Fasar, who once ventured to war against the demons of the Gorian Desert. Her goal – to become the greatest hero of all time – was foiled by mysterious circumstances. Whatever happened, the girl disappeared and her tale was all but forgotten.

Five centuries passed until one day a young bird catcher named Geron met a traveling merchant named Fahi in his native forest. This merchant promises to return Geron’s girlfriend Nuri to human form undoing the curse that has made her a raven. But this favor comes at a price: Geron must solve the mystery of Sadja’s fate.

He agrees without hesitation – unaware that this choice will trigger a chain of events that will soon cast a shadow on his homeland and turn the present into a dark mirror of its long forgotten past…

Lego City Under Cover The Chase Begins 3DS screenshotThe LEGO game franchise from Traveler’s Tales has seen many a movie or comic license adaptation, usually consisting of linear platforming games that mostly play the same, albeit with a different skin tacked on to it. This game’s big brother for the Wii U however, decided to a different route and make its own original story. Foregoing the linear structure and adopting an open world level design while retaining the charm and basic gameplay we have come to expect from the LEGO games. Not to make the 3DS left out, or do a lazy port, They decided to go for a similar prologue story of Chase McCain’s adventures. Does this game recapture the feeling of the Wii U version? Read On.

Leading the charge is the brand-new map: Attica Heights – a high security building set against the iconic skyline of Singapore’s business district. Attica Heights is the second map designed for the Holdout game mode and forces players to make quick tactical decisions in a unique split-level environment. The verticality of the map takes the fight on and directly above the vital capture point, splitting the teams’ focus between two floors and giving players alternate routes to the action.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising DLC Map Pack Coming to PlayStation 3 and Windows PC fans on May 16

Posted By Justin Lee On April 25, 2013 at 1:10 pm Comments Off on Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising DLC Map Pack Coming to PlayStation 3 and Windows PC fans on May 16

Call-of-Duty-Black-Ops-II-LogoBeginning May 16, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC players will have the opportunity to play Uprising, Activision and Treyarch’s second epic DLC Map Pack for the record-breaking Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Uprisingincludes four new multiplayer maps, plus “Mob of the Dead,” a bone-chilling new Zombies experience that takes players to the notorious prison island of Alcatraz. Several of Hollywood’s most iconic actors round out the cast of Prohibition-era mobsters, including Ray Liotta, Michael Madsen, Chazz Palminteri, and Joe Pantoliano to bring this horrifying adventure to life.

Following the tradition of the original Call of Duty: Black Ops fan-favorite Zombies mode “Call of the Dead,” Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising’s wildly creative new “Mob of the Dead” Zombies experience puts players on the island of Alcatraz, in the shoes of four Prohibition-era mobsters: Billy Handsome (Liotta), Al “The Weasel” Arlington (Pantoliano), Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca (Palminteri), and Michael “Finn” O’Leary (Madsen). All four are serving time in Alcatraz Prison, only to discover that being behind bars is the least of their problems. In order to survive, players must work their way through the steel cells and aging concrete buildings while fighting off a multitude of zombified prisoners and guards trapped on the island with them.

Uprising also debuts four new diverse multiplayer maps, each set around the globe:
• Magma – Set within a modern Japanese village, volcanic eruptions carve multiple paths throughout the town.

• Encore – Taking place in the aftermath of a deserted London music festival, Encore leaves numerous opportunities for run-and-gun, close quarters combat.

• Vertigo – A futuristic high-rise mega-structure located in India featuring dizzying vistas and multi-tiered pathways.

• Studio – A contemporary re-imagining of “Firing Range,” the fan-favorite multiplayer map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops. “Studio” is a Hollywood movie back lot with a variety of cinematic themes that range from Sci-Fi to the Old West.

Fans can purchase Uprising as a standalone Map Pack for a suggested retail price of $14.99. Call of Duty: Black Ops II game sold separately, and is required to play this Map Pack.

Activision Publishing, Inc. and Red Fly Studio are shining a light on each of the varied personas that make up this formidable team of half-shell heroes. Today’s trailer goes behind the bandana of the Turtles’ youngest, most agile member: Michelangelo. Always ready with a punch and a punchline, the orange-draped Michelangelo puts a literal spin on the phrase “party animal.” He’s a fun-loving foodie with an appetite for goofing off instead of training. But despite his lighthearted tone and distaste for confrontation, Mikey is no less committed to the cause than his older brothers, whom he looks up to as role models.
