Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios today announced the upcoming release of the March Meguiar’s Car Pack for “Forza Horizon.” The downloadable content pack introduces six cars to Forza Horizon, including three cars that are 2012 models or newer. From the wide body ferocity of the 1998 Nissan R390 to the scene-stealing appeal of the 2013 Audi RS4 Avant, the March Meguiar’s Car Pack brings together a stellar lineup of cars that have been custom-picked to dominate the open roads of Colorado in “Forza Horizon”.

The March Meguiar’s Car Pack will be available for download on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 on Xbox LIVE for 400 Microsoft Points. Players who own the “Forza Horizon” Season Pass will be able to download the March Meguiar’s Car Pack for no additional cost. In addition, Season Pass owners will also receive the March Season Pass Bonus Car, the 2010 Joss JT1, for free.

Earth Defence Force 2017 PS VITA ScreenshotEarth Defense Force 2017 Portable is a game that arguably shouldn’t exist. It doesn’t have the most original gameplay or story. The graphics are nothing to write home about. It’s a port of an Xbox 360 exclusive to the current generation system with the smallest audience, the Playstation Vita. Yet there’s something about it that is still quite enthralling about its simplicity, and its choice of platform ends up being quite appropriate in the sense that it’s an underdog game for an underdog system, with plenty of fans in the corner for each.

Today, following the announcement of the PlayStation 4 from Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE), Ubisoft revealed that its highly anticipated open world action-adventure game, Watch_Dogs, will be available for the launch of the new system.

As demonstrated onstage today at PlayStation Meeting 2013, Watch_Dogs’ ambitious scope illustrates that Ubisoft is once again at the forefront of new technologies, giving freedom to development teams to create unprecedented entertainment experiences. Development of Watch_Dogs is being led by Ubisoft Montreal, with support from Ubisoft’s Bucharest, Paris, Quebec and Reflections studios. Receiving more than 83 awards and nominations at E3 2012 where it was first announced, Watch_Dogs blends cutting-edge technologies and sophisticated game design into a realistic, living open world.

In Watch_Dogs, players will experience the realities of living in our fully connected society, where individuals and corporations are at risk of exposure by our ever-increasing reliance on networks and technology.

Players will assume the role of Aiden Pearce, a new type of vigilante who, with the help of his smartphone, will use his ability to hack into Chicago’s central operating system (ctOS) and control almost every element of the city. Aiden will be able to tap into the city’s omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control systems such as traffic lights or public transportation to stop a chase, and more. The city of Chicago is now the ultimate
weapon.

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. today announced that it is developing Diablo III, the latest entry in its award-winning action–role-playing-game series, for the Sony PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. The company also today confirmed plans to adapt the game for Sony’s newly announced PlayStation 4, its next-generation computer entertainment system.

The PS3/PS4 version of Diablo III will be based on the critically acclaimed core experience of the PC version, including all of the latest upgrades, such as the Paragon leveling system, customizable Monster Power, Brawling, and epic Legendary items. In addition, Blizzard is designing an all-new user interface, including an intuitive control scheme and a new dynamic camera perspective, that will make questing and combat in the world of Sanctuary feel like second nature on PlayStation platforms. Players will be able to battle their way through the story in single-player mode and also experience the hack-and-slash joy of destroying demons and collecting loot together with their friends via seamless four-player online and local co-op modes.

With unprecedented power, deep social capabilities, and instant accessibility, PS4 allows game creators to unleash their imaginations and deliver new play experiences to gamers that were never before possible. The live audience at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, along with millions of fans streaming the event around the world, were also provided with a sneak peek of some of the games that will ultimately define the PS4 experience.

“We wanted to ensure that nothing would come between the platform and the joy of play,” Cerny said. “We also wanted to be sure that the system architecture could fluidly connect the player to a larger world of experiences, and provide easy access to everything PlayStation® has to offer – across the console and mobile spaces, and PlayStation®Network. And we were able to create, in PS4, a platform by game creators for game creators.”

Earlier this week, Bungie and Activision officially announced that Destiny would be shipping on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. On February 20th, 2013, Bungie co-founder Jason Jones shared a simple message with PlayStation fans around the world: Destiny™ is being developed for PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®4, with both versions available at Destiny’s launch.

Harold Ryan, President of Bungie further added, “Destiny is being developed for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, with both versions available at Destiny’s launch. Destiny will also feature exclusive in-game content, only available on PlayStation.”

343 Industries today announced the first details for the next major expansion in the Halo Infinity Multiplayer experience, the Majestic Map Pack, launching next Monday, Feb. 25. Developed by Certain Affinity, in collaboration with 343 Industries, the Majestic Map Pack delivers the close-quarters action fans have been craving in three all-new small to medium sized maps designed specifically for tight, competitive combat in small-team and free-for-all modes: Landfall, Monolith and Skyline.

Landfall’s emphasis is on infantry battles amidst a glittering ocean and a city under siege on a distant world. Monolith is an open battlefield; a Forerunner monument that exposes you to the naked vacuum of space –and the firepower of opposing teams. Skyline puts you in the air on a new construction site, and its distinctly industrial surroundings and sky-high locale provides new challenges in confined spaces.

Additionally, the map pack introduces two new “Majestic DLC” playlists and a new free-for-all game type, “Infinity Rumble,” that is exclusive to the “Majestic DLC” playlist for a limited time, as well as 10 new Achievements worth a total of 250 Gamerscore.
